PROJECT:4 KINETIC IDENTITY
In this project, we will study an unconventional approach to corporate identity design. As an alternative method, kinetic identity aims to construct a visual identity with ‘changeable elements’ instead of repeating fixed units.
By using different techniques of kinetic identity, this project requires you to design a corporate identity for a new place opening in Bilkent campus which serves food. ‘Where will this place be located’, ‘what kind of food/drinks it will offer’, ‘does it offer an alternative taste or improve the existing places’, ‘how the food is served’, ‘what will be the size of the company’, ‘what are the working hours’, etc. are the questions that you have to find the answers according to your research & analysis of the campus and the eating habbits.
While designing a new place for eating, every creative proposal for an ‘alternative’ place is welcome. But, don’t forget that the campus and the campus life are our reference points! Thus, your proposals should fit into our campus environment and its needs.
Your corporate identity design includes the following items:
1) The name of the company.
2) The logotype/emblem of the company.
3) Take-home set:
A food container, a liquid container & a bag (to carry them).
4) One of the following items:
Building sign,
Uniform (of the company workers),
Table mat,
Salt & pepper,
Napkin.
